I view the use of cellphones and technology in classrooms as a legitimate method to engage students.
After 13 years as a Graphic Designer, I started teaching in the public education system as a certified Technical Vocational Teacher. While teaching, I earned my B.Ed., and my M.Ed.
As a corollary, I hold three certificates from Manitoba Education and Advanced Learning: Permanent Vocational Industrial; Permanent Professional; Leadership Certificate.
As of Oct 2018, I've successfully defended my Master's Thesis in Education. If you're a teacher that uses technology in the classroom, and you participated in the study, then please know that I am truly grateful for your assistance. It's another step in developing our professional understanding of how today's social media "dances with" our educational efforts.
